The short answer
A SISArgentina Windows cloud server is a hybrid server with dedicated resources —4 to 8 cores and up to 32 GB of RAM— and Windows Server 2025 or 2022, for an ERP, SQL Server and several users over remote desktop. It has RAID 10 disks with a spare and sits in a TIER‑II datacenter in Buenos Aires with backed-up power. Windows is installed with the 180-day evaluation license; the customer provides the permanent licenses.

Tell us about your system
Which ERP or accounting system you use, how many people connect at once and how big the database is. With that we recommend the plan: an SH3 with 8 GB usually covers a small team.

Connect over remote desktop
With the IP and Administrator password you receive by email. Afterwards every user logs in the same way, with their own account:

Activate the licenses
Before the 180 days run out, convert the evaluation to the full edition with DISM and your product key, in an administrator terminal:

Frequently asked questions
How many people can work at once?
It depends on the system and the remote access licenses you have. As a reference, an SH3 with 8 GB usually covers a small team; for more users or a large database, an SH5 or SH6 with 16 or 32 GB.
How is it different from a Windows VPS?
The VPS shares its node with other customers, with guaranteed resources, and suits one application or a few users. The cloud server has dedicated CPU and memory, which is what an ERP with several people connected needs.
Are the licenses included?
No. Windows is installed with the 180-day evaluation license, and the permanent Windows Server, SQL Server and remote access licenses are provided by the customer, because they depend on each installation. We help you work out which ones you need.
Do you back up the server?
No: as the terms of service say, backing up a server is the customer’s job. RAID protects against a disk failure, not against a deletion or a mistake; we help you plan the copies of the database and files.
Is the server managed?
No. VPS plans and cloud servers are delivered unmanaged: we provide the server with a clean operating system, the static IP and root access, and from there on installing, configuring, updating, securing and backing it up are yours. The commands on this page are the ones in the tool’s official documentation, verified on Ubuntu 24.04, and they are enough to get it running; support for the tool itself is its own documentation and community. If you get stuck with something on the server, write to us and we will lend a hand. And if you would rather not deal with it, our software factory builds custom work on this same infrastructure. Shared hosting with a control panel is a different story: that one we do install and maintain.
